24 Hour Call-out

Jones and Hampton offer all their clients access to our emergency call out service. We have teams of trade’s people on call ready to attend emergencies 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We have Gas Engineers, Electricians, Carpenters and Glazer's working around the clock to ensure security and the supply of essential services to Domestic dwellings, Care Homes, Public Buildings and Sheltered Dwellings.

A well stocked and maintained vehicle is essential in providing this service; here is Rob one of our Engineers preparing his vehicle for the weekend call our rota.

How it works

We operate an emergency call out service 24 hours, 365 days per year. Currently we operate all trade skills available for emergency out of hours service inc, carpentry, glazing, plumbing, drains, gas, electrical.

With our current requirements we have a minimum of 8 operatives on call at all times though this can be increased by using our reserve call out rota if required.

There are 4 contact numbers that will be issued to our client to use 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

PHONE NO 1. Is the contact number for General repairs such as plumbing, drains, locks window repairs, boarding up, this number belongs to a mobile phone that is passed between the operatives according to the call out rota.

PHONE NO 2. Is the contact number for Gas repairs, this number is specific to gas repairs due to the nature and danger that is associated with potential Gas repairs and as such only qualified engineers are allowed to attend this type of call out.

If a Call out is reported to the general call out and then transpires to involve Gas repairs the general repairs operative will call out the Gas engineer to attend.

PHONE NO 3 Is the contact number for Electrical repair, this number is specific to electrical repairs due to the nature and danger that is associated with this type of work and as such only qualified engineers are allowed to attend this type of call out.

PHONE NO 4. Is the Backup number of the Manager/Supervisor responsible for the overall contract whom within their terms of conditions of employment will remain available to our client 24/7 in case poor mobile phone reception, back up due to abnormal circumstances and general support/advise to the operative, client and customer alike. 

We currently have 6 clients using Jones and Hampton to cover their emergency call outs inc, Telford and Wrekin Council, Ministry of Defence Housing, Riverside Housing, Housing 21, PH Jones and KMS. Our KPI measures on responding to our emergency call out within 2 hours of receiving the call is and is maintained at 100%,  

In addition to this the all our clients will be issued with our escalation process. If there are any problems or a serious incident in respect to extended appointment times, this is not a problem; we operate a flexible service where we operate both early evening appointments and Saturday working. This is also supported by both supervision and administration where required.

Our Call out service operates from 5.30 pm up to 7.30 am Monday to Friday, 12.00 am Saturday, through Sunday to 7.30pm Monday.
